We hope you love what you ordered. But in case you don't—perhaps it's a wrong fit or the style just isn't you—we'll send you a new size, color, or style, or issue you a quick refund. Exchanges are free when you use our prepaid return shipping label.

You have up to 30 days to return items purchased at, Beartooth Harley-Davidson, Beartooth Pass Harley-Davidson, or Buffalo Bill Harley-Davidson.

What items are eligible to be returned or exchanged? Items must be in their original packaging and ndition: unwashed / unworn / and installation not evident. Items not in this condition will not be accepted.
Items missing the UPC or the UPC is unattached, will not be accepted.
Final Sale items or Special order items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Helmets and Electrical Products cannot be returned or exchanged.
How much is the return shipping fee for online purchases? Shipping and Handling fees for returns are your responsibility and are non-refundable.
Is the shipping fee charged for exchanges? Exchanges are free.
How long do I have to return or exchange an item I bought online? Within 30 days of purchase by mail or to a store. To receive a refund for items returned by mail, items must be received at our facility within the 30 days of purchasing. Please allow 5-7 days for return mail.
How can I receive a refund for my order? Refunds require pre-authorization. Email or call to receive an RMA number. Upon return include proof of purchase: the invoice mailed to you or the original credit card used for the purchase.
I received an item as a gift. How can I receive a refund? Gifts returned with gift receipt (invoice) will receive a gift card in the amount of the purchase price. Gifts returned without gift receipt (invoice) will receive a gift card by mail in the amount of the current selling price.

How to Return an Item:

  1. Email or call and request an RMA number. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
  2. Return the purchase including the item, instructions, packaging, and any other pieces included with the original item.
  3. Package the returned items properly. Packages are subjected to extreme shock and vibration during shipping. When shipping merchandise back to us, please wrap the items individually. Once opened, original packaging alone may be insufficient for safe return. Add sufficient packing material. Any loose metal hardware or parts should be wrapped in plastic or paper and secured inside the box so as to keep them from touching any other items during shipping. Be extremely protective of any chrome parts you may be returning. Parts scratched or damaged upon return receipt will be ineligible for a full refund.
  4. Place in the original box.
  5. Include a copy of the Invoice with the items being returned.
  6. All returns must be sent pre-paid. We suggest you ship by U.S. Mail or by UPS Ground and retain your tracking number until delivery has been verified. No collect shipments will be accepted.
  7. For your protection packages should be shipped insured for their full value to protect you against lost.

  9. Additional Warranty Information:
  • Used and Damaged Parts: Any part which, in our opinion, shows evidence of being used or installed contrary to the manufacturer's instructions and/or subjected to improper handling, packaging or return shipping by the customer, is ineligible for exchange, refund or warranty consideration.
  • Electrical Products: All electrical items must be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement per the manufacturers’ warranty. We do this to ensure that you get direct service faster.
  • Exhaust Pipes and Mufflers: There is no warranty on exhaust pipes and mufflers with regard to discoloration. Bluing or discoloration is caused by tuning characteristics, cam timing, carburetor jetting, overheating, and so forth and is NOT caused by defective manufacturing. Once you have started your motorcycle, there is no refund on exhaust pipes and mufflers, except in the case of a manufacturing defect.
  • Wheels and Rims: There is no warranty on wheels and rims we sell once a tire has been mounted on the wheel. If your wheel or rim has a manufacturing defect, or has been damaged in shipping, you must notify us of the problem before a rubber tire has been mounted.
  • Seats/Saddlebags: Seats, once mounted, cannot be returned. Returned seats and saddlebags must be in like-new condition, with no evidence of wear or mount marks.
  • Chrome plated items: Chrome plating is a delicate cosmetic finish and must be handled very carefully. Manufacturers will only warranty chrome plating until the item is installed on a motorcycle or other vehicle. You should expect tiny blemishes or scratches on chrome. Once a week or after every ride, use a good chrome cleaner and soft, clean cloth to remove road dirt and other contaminants to help protect your chrome.
  • Due to the usage and safety expectations of helmets, all helmets returned for refund or exchange must be in new condition and include all of the original packaging material. All safety decals and notices must be fully intact. Helmets that are scratched or otherwise appear to be dropped or damaged will not be accepted for return. Helmet refunds or exchanges will not be issued until the returned helmet has been received and inspected. Helmets must be double boxed for return.
